Custom Hand Painted Jada ’51 Mercury Cars
Hello everyone.
We thought it would be cool to take a ’51 Merc and paint it up to match the Butterscotch Sledster. So I went out and bought as many Jada ’51 Merc’s as I could find, which is getting very difficult to do) and painted them to match the color and fade on the Flatbed Sledster. The cool thing that makes this particular Merc unique is that it was designed by Luis Tanahara when he worked at Jada. It is also the inspiration behind the Sledster.
Right now I only have a few of them available, but I also have some older Cadillacs (’49, ’53, ’59 and ,62 Convertibles) as well that are painted to match (all Jada). If you are interested in them they are $20.00 plus shipping, which should not be expensive or we can add it to an order for free. Please email me to let me know which one you would like and I can send you a paypal invoice.
Thanks,
Mike
P.S. Sledster in the picture is not included. Only used to show the color.

Hi,
My name is Paul, I live in Fullerton, California and I’m a Sledster fan. I have already collected all the Sledster plus the chase pieces except for the two ladder trucks (which I will begin looking for shortly), I even have the two Johnny Lightning flamed Buick’s. to go with the matching Hot Led flatbeds. I am very interested in the painted 51 Merc 1/64th scale Dub car for the Butterscotch Sledster and its blue chase flatbed if available, along with others that you may have.
Please let me know how I can get a peek at some of these cars and how to acquire one or more.
Thanks.
Paul

Hi
I have all of the Sledsters and it would be great to get the cars to match the flat beds.
Thanks, Russ
